Connecting with our Community

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back and delivering social value to surrounding communities, our Maxis team joined other Frasers Property UK parks for a volunteering day with local charity The Cowshed.

The event was organised by CMPP (Community Matters Partnership Project) — a non-profit organisation that connects businesses with opportunities to give back through local, meaningful volunteering.

The Cowshed helps people facing hardship — whether due to poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, or other challenging circumstances — by offering practical support with dignity and compassion. The charity also promotes sustainability by repurposing pre-loved items and involving volunteers in meaningful, community-focused work.

Our team helped sort clothing donations, clean and pair shoes, and worked in the sewing area to prepare materials for toiletry and referral bags that go to people in crisis across the region.

Together, we delivered 40 volunteer hours — representing an £800 contribution — and left feeling proud, connected, and inspired.

Thank you to CMPP and The Cowshed for making it such a positive day.
