Earth Hour is a symbolic ‘lights off’ movement in support of our planet, started by the World Wildlife Fund. An annual event celebrated around the world since 2007, it encourages individuals to switch off non-essential lights.
Now in 2026, the message is even more critical, as we are at a tipping point that requires all of us to make more sustainable choices.
We would like our community to join us and ask the companies they work for to stand alongside millions of people around the world by switching their lights off for Earth Hour in support of climate action on Saturday 28 March between 8.30 and 9.30pm.
As a business park, we’re aiming for all non-essential lights to be switched off across the park in support of our own sustainability goals.
Of course, most of us won’t be on the park at that time; however, you can still do your bit. As we know, combined small gestures can add up to a big impact. It’s a great opportunity to take part at home and turn the hour into a chance to unplug, turn off the internet, put your phone down and do something different.
Fun ways to enjoy an hour unplugged with family or friends
