We were delighted to host the Bracknell BID Dr. Bike Workshop at Maxis, as part of our combined commitment to promoting wellbeing and sustainable travel across the Bracknell business community.
Delivered by Avanti Cycle, the session provides occupiers with free bike checks, maintenance tips, and simple repairs to keep their bikes in great condition — helping to make commuting by bike easier, safer, and more enjoyable.
Throughout the afternoon, our visiting bike mechanic will carry out safety checks, adjust brakes and gears, and offer expert advice on caring for bikes all year round.
A local police officer will also be on hand offering free BikeRegister security marking (usually worth £12.99), helping cyclists protect their bikes and cycle with confidence.
The workshop forms part of a wider initiative led by Bracknell BID to encourage greener journeys, improve workplace wellbeing, and reduce the environmental impact of daily commuting.
