Splash for Seb and donation drop-off day

We don’t usually wish for rain, but if you want to take part in Sebastian’s Action Trust’s Splash for Seb from 1 – 16th April, then you’d better be prepared to get splashed. Maxis’ 2021 charity of the year want you to get your little one’s involved and start jumping in some puddles. If it’s good enough for Peppa Pig, it’s good enough for us!

Sebastian’s Action Trust is a charity developed from the last wish of a very special nine-year-old boy just twelve days before he died of cancer in 2003. Each year the charity supports families through respite breaks, outreach and specialist services, together with their programme of events that connect their ‘family of families’.

How can you raise money?

All you need is your wellies and a big puddle! It’s the perfect fun activity for the Easter holidays. Just get outside and have fun whilst raising money for a great cause.

Why not have a competition and get sponsored to see if you can find the biggest puddle? Or maybe count how many puddles your little one can jump in, in an hour? Or if you want to get competitive, why not get jumping every day for a week?

Pull on those wellies and find as many puddles as you can and Splash for Seb!

Ask for sponsorship from family and friends and get them to join the fun. If you would like to set up a JustGiving page or donate via JustGiving you can click here.

You can also download a free colouring sheet and ‘I splashed for Seb’ selfie sign here.

Where does your sponsorship money go?

If you raise £10 it will buy a book for Reflections, the Trust’s bereavement support group.

£100 will give a whole day of music therapy to families and if you raise an impressive £200, that will enable 6 at-home wellbeing therapy sessions for parents of seriously-ill children.

Share those splashes

Don’t forget to share with us your puddle challenge – the bigger and muddier the better! Tag Sebastian’s Action Trust here #splashforseb #SATstillworking and tag us on Instagram and Facebook @maxisbusinesspark.
